Last Week of Classes

Hello everyone! Today was a wonderful day for me.  It felt really good to be back in Stirling.  London is great, but that city got to be a little overwhelming for me.  I much prefer my quiet little town in Scotland.  So, it was nice to have a day today to just sit and enjoy my day.  I have a final on Friday, but I gave myself today just to recover from the lack of sleep over the weekend (I know this makes me sound like a slacker, but I've had the essay question for about 3 weeks and it's over the movie that I did my presentation on.  So, I'm pretty much set to go).

I had one class today.  It was my last LEI lecture and was taught by Snape.  This was the most attended lecture of the semester...that would be because it was the review lecture and it lasted about 20 minutes (instead of it's usual 2 hours).  So, I guess these kids do want to get good grades if nothing else.

My exam schedule here is crazy.  Back at Butler, we have finals within a week time period.  Here, I have them within a month time period.  Classes end May 9th (mine May 6th) and then you could have a final at any point after that.  I have one in class on Friday, one on May 20th and one on May 26th (just as a reference point, I leave to come home on June 5th).  So, my schedule really isn't too bad.  Two of my finals are essays.  The other one may or may not be an essay.  I think it may be multiple choice...but I guess I'll found out in class either tomorrow or Thursday.  Another weird thing, is that I have to use references in my essays.  So, I have to memorize quotes and authors to use in my in-class essays.  I think that is really strange personally. But, these professors here are major referencing freaks.  They mean business.

Tomorrow I have one class and am planning on doing laundry (for the last time in Scotland unless I have some unforeseen circumstance that requires me to do a load of laundry) in the morning.  Then, it'll off to memorizing references for my exam on Friday for me! It should be a good time.
